While this is a genealogy blog, and family history is a passion, koalas (and kangaroos) come a close second. I live in a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia, and am fortunate enough the have koalas and kangaroos come and visit regularly.

Just out of interest I started photographing them, which ultimately resulted in creating my “Boomer and her friends 2020 calendar”. This was well received, so I’m back with a new one for 2021. Which means you get to meet even more of the ‘locals’ who visit.

When buying any of these products, apart from getting a great product, part proceeds from every sale go to various South Australian wildlife organisations to help them continue the fantastic work they do in rescuing sick and injured koalas, rehabilitating them, and releasing them when they are ready.
