Did you know that it is now US law for even personal bloggers to include a disclosure statement on their site? No, nor did I until recently. But I do think it is a great idea. So here’s mine.

I am a Australian hobby genealogist, who isn’t a public speaker, or an official blogger for any major genealogy event.

I have chosen to write this Disclosure note to let people know that yes, I do work for Gould Genealogy & History, Australia’s genealogy retail and webstore, as I may mention products that are available through us (and other genealogy outlets) from time to time.

But trust me, I don’t get anything extra for mentioning any products or companies. If they are mentioned it is because I choose to do so, not for any other reason what-so-ever.
