Packing for the Unlock The Past Queensland Expo 2012

I thought since it is now less that a week and I’ll be on a plane heading up to Brisbane for the Unlock the Past Queensland Expo 2012, I’d better start packing.

Here’s a few key things I gathered together that are ‘MUST’s’ for me to take.

1. Work shirt – as I’m going as an exhibitor to help out on the Gould Genealogy & History stand, I need to take my work shirt

2. Blogger bling (aka blogger beads) – newly introduced to me at the Adelaide Congress in March 2012, I’m making sure I have them ready to pack, and wear while up there. And I’ll be looking out for other geneabloggers who are wearing their blogger beads too

3. Comfy shoes – an absolute must to cope with 3 days of standing on your feet

4. Genealogy mags – that’s quality reading material for the plane flights

5. Work name badge – I do have a work name badge which I wear at events, so I have that ready to take too

6. I Love TROVE badge – well I don’t have to take this, but I love it, so why not!! (oh the badge got cut off the pic, but trust me it’s packed)

7. Camera – I’m hoping as always manage to get a few minutes to sneak away from our stand, and get a few pics

So that the basics, now I guess I’d better get my suitcase out, and REALLY start packing.

If any of my readers are coming to the Queensland Expo 2012, I’ll see you soon. It’ll be 3 great days on non-stop genealogy.

To those that aren’t going, I might be a little quiet blog-wise afterwards, as first I’ll be in recovery mode, then it’ll be catch-up with work mode. 😀 But I’ll be back, don’t you worry.

I’m looking forward to it Shauna and Alex, but this week shall be a chaotic one in preparation.
But it’ll be really nice to meet up with some more geneabloggers, and to be able to put faces to blogs 😀
